CATALYST TELECOM ANNOUNCES INTENSIVE, ON-SITE AVAYA SALES TRAINING COURSE
GREENVILLE, SC - August 28, 2008 - Catalyst Telecom, a sales unit of ScanSource, Inc. {NASDAQ: SCSC}, and value-added distributor of voice, video and data convergence solutions, is offering Avaya SMB and ECG business partners a comprehensive, on-site consultative training course to assist salespeople in quickly ramping up their sales skills by strengthening all parts of the sales process – from creating through to closing.
The Catalyst Telecom training session is October 21-24 at the Catalyst Telecom Distribution Center in Southaven, MS and encompasses four intensive days of training, including targeting and profiling potential customers, developing executable scripts, working with qualified opportunities, creating demand, and strengthening current customer relationships. What’s more, the training course, which will be presented by Catalyst’s first-rate training partner A Fluent Vision, will be followed up with a Virtual Sales Management component, in which students will receive calls from the course trainers, who will evaluate the students’ progress and provide individual coaching based on areas of need. Students will also have the ability to contact the trainer for advice, input and recommendations and will receive a monthly newsletter and web seminar for the 90 days following, in which they will have access to case studies and additional sales tools.
