SCANSOURCE MEXICO NAMES NEW DIRECTOR

GREENVILLE, SC - December 02, 2008 - ScanSource De Mexico, a subsidiary of ScanSource Latin America, a value-added distributor of specialty technology products, has named Araceli Aguilar as its new Managing Director.

In this position, Aguilar is responsible for managing operations for all of ScanSource Mexico, including the strategic oversight and direction of the company’s automatic identification and data capture (AIDC), point-of-sale (POS) and telephony operations.
Aguilar brings more than 12 years of distribution experience to this position, having previously worked in IT distribution as Senior Manager of Merchandising. She managed the creation and execution of sales and business strategies, in addition to developing and strengthening customer and vendor relationships.
